Do I need prior healthcare experience to take this course?

No. Our course is beginner-friendly and also valuable for those already working in healthcare who want to advance their careers.

What will I learn in the course?

You’ll study CPT®, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding, along with medical terminology, anatomy, compliance, and insurance guidelines. You’ll also practice coding with real-world redacted medical records.

How long does it take to complete the program?

The program is designed to be completed in 16 weeks. With consistent participation and practice, you’ll be fully prepared for the CPC exam by the end of the course.

Is the CPC exam included in tuition?

Yes! Your tuition includes two attempts at the CPC exam through AAPC. We’ll guide you through the registration process when you’re ready to schedule your exam.

How is the course delivered?

Classes are held live through Zoom for an interactive learning experience. You will also use Blackboard through AAPC to access course materials, assignments, and resources. Access to Blackboard is included in your tuition.

Will I receive study materials?

Yes! Included in your tuition are three practice exams (50 questions each), your official CPT®, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS coding books, along with a comprehensive study guide to help you prepare for the CPC exam.

What support is available outside of class?

Students can email the instructor directly, access discussion forums, and join our coding community for study support and exam prep guidance.

What if I don’t pass the CPC exam on my first attempt?

That’s okay! Your tuition covers a second attempt. We’ll also continue to provide resources, support, and encouragement to help you succeed.
